Cleome and another hibiscus. The cleome's are an annual but they reseeded themselves this year.

One of my favorite flowers. A red hibiscus that grows in Minnesota. These flowers are about the size of a dinner plate and last for one day.

This flower stands about 3 feet tall. These are located in the front yard and are volunteers. They are so beautiful.

I love these hibiscus. I have two plants and they did very well this year. The blooms are about the size of a dinner plate and bloom for one day. This one is located in the front yard and the red hibiscus is by the deck. I transplanted it in the spring and it is doing well.

Lilacs

I am finally getting lilacs. The secret was tree fertilizer spikes. There was so much competion from the Maple Tree that the lilacs really struggled.

I have these growing throught the front and back yard. They spread like crazy, so you can find them in the grass and everywhere else. I wish they would bloom all summer long, but they are a spring flower.

It is just beautiful!

These are balloon flowers from the front yard by the light post. They just started to bloom yesterday. If I remember correctly, they will bloom off and on all summer.

Isn't it lovely...(cont) It is so nice outside. The plants are growing at a very quick rate and already flowerering.
