Lake Pepin Day Trip
I thought this was a fun picture. Many gulls were lined along a ledge facing Lake Pepin.
Lake Pepin Day Trip
Dad and I took a day trip to Lake Pepin, which is located on the Mississippi River in Lake City, not to far from Red Wing. Lake Pepin is actually a widening of the river, not an actual lake. The area is beautiful and is considered a resort town. There were many sailing boats and a few yachts. Lake Pepin is about 65 miles from our home.
