Burnsville Fire

Yesterday afternoon, a fire broke out at a apartment building located on Hwy 13, next to Dairy Queen, across the street from Burger King and Burnsville Bowl. The fire started in a laundry room and quickly engulfed the entire building , about 60 units. Everything is a total loss. People that do not have anywhere else to go are being housed in the Burnsville High School gym. The fire spread quickly partly because of the cold. A coworker from the Plymouth Schneiderman's store was at work when the fire broke out and all that she has is the clothes she wore to work. No one was hurt was is a miracle but my heart goes out to all the families.

St Paul Temple

Our Temple had a fire near the entrance on this past Wednesday. It was noticed by a passerby about 3 am. Most of the damage mostly smoke was near the front doors. Some light smoke damage was done to the foyer. They think it was arson and not a hate crime. How sad that someone would want to desecrate some a beautiful building. I am not sure if the Temple will be closed for repairs. They said the damage was listed at $25,000.00.
