A few photos of my garden, the top is my northern hibiscus, which I love.  It had many blooms this year, must have been a good year for it.

The bottom photo is bount from my veggie garden.  With our erratic weather our garden did not do as well as I hoped, but we had some carrots, beets, tomatoes, gourds, a few ears of corn and lots of zucchini.  Now is time to put the garden to bed.

The Veggie Garden Is In!

Well, with all the prednisone I have been taking, I have lots of energy, even though I need to be careful.  As of today, the garden is in.  Already growing was potatoes, spinach, lettuce, onions, garlic and sweet peas.  Now sweet corn is planted, some sunflowers, green beans, tomatoes, multi colored bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, canteloupe and butternut squasch.  It is so nice to have the garden fenced in, Thanks Jeff.  I was able to use our compost which looked great and added some cow manure.  I feel we will be having the best garden ever.  I also have some grape vines  that are starting to sprout, and blueberries and rhubarb.  What a good feeling it is to have this completed!
