Baby shower gift I created for a church friend. I had a lot of fun with this baby quilt. I had all the supplies on hand, so all I had to do was find a pattern I liked and make the quilt.

4th of July
Wow is it hot here. 102 degrees. Planned on going to the parade. TOO HOT! Did go see MIB Very good movie. Maybe fireworks tonight. We will see what the temp brings. They start at 10 pm. Way past my bedtime. Off to work tomorrow, with another 100 degrees to look forward to. Lucky Me!

Finally!!!
Went on my first long bike ride today, 14 miles. It felt great. I had biked a round t he neighborhood for two weeks for a breaking in period. Today I biked the Big River Trail to Harriett Island, and did not come back winded. I will be visiting this trail a couple of times a week. I will be getting into shape this summer and improve my heart.
